A Grateful Heart…

Family

….to have been blessed with these amazing women in my life!

Many of you have heard me talk about my grandmother, Shirley. I was attached to her side as a teenager. I would spend countless hours on the weekend learning how to sew, knit, cross-stitch, and bake. She also got me involved in the American Red Cross as a water safety instructor. She was an amazing, strong, supportive woman. I am grateful for every moment I had with her. Now as I spend countless hours in my sewing room, I feel close to her and thankful for what she taught me. She gave me something that brings me much joy and during this COVID crisis, I have been able to use this joy to spread the love to so many deserving charities.

My wonderful mother was supportive of me as a young woman and encouraged me endlessly to be ‘whatever you want to be’! I am thankful for her support as I pursued the field of dentistry, something else that brings me great joy. And, this crisis has made me even more aware of how happy I am to be in a field that helps others. I am beyond grateful to be back at work caring for each of you. My staff and I love our patients and we are passionate about being your dental provider.

And, I can’t leave out my sweet Madilyn Rose (well, mostly sweet! She is closing in on the teenage years). She is a strong, confident young woman who will be able to move mountains someday with her amazing personality. I am grateful for the blessing of her in my life and that I can hug her every day!

Enjoy your day! Find things for which to be grateful. As my grandmother would say… ‘when life gives you lemons, make lemonade’.

With a grateful heart,

Jessica
