Meet Our Chapel Hill Dentistry Team

Dr. Jessica L. Bishop

Dr. Bishop graduated from Grove CityCollege in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in molecular biology with the distinction of magna cum laude. She then attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina school of dentistry. Dr. Bishop is a part-time faculty member at the UNC School of Dentistry and spends Fridays teaching student dentists in a clinical setting.

Dr. Bishop has been practicing dentistry at her practice in Chapel Hill since 2000. She has committed herself and her staff to completing hundreds of hours of continuing education classes yearly. Recent continuing education has included courses on Invisalign, Sedation dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Member associations and organizations include the American Dental Association, Dental Foundation of NC – Board Member, NC Dental Society, and the Association of Women Dentists.

Dr. Steven Bishop

Dr. Bishop completed his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia. Since then he has practiced dentistry for over 30 years in Pennsylvania and has continued to concentrate his energies on cosmetic dentistry.

Continuing Education is important to Dr. Bishop and has included courses on Lumineers, Invisalign, and cosmetic veneering. He is a member of the ADA and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Recently, he decided to retire from the cold weather of Pennsylvania, but not from dentistry. With his years of experience and knowledge of dentistry, Dr. Jessica Bishop is excited to bring her father on board.
